We got a guy here in Cbus/cleveland who fancies himself something of a youtube star, his listings tend to sit for a long time because they are overpriced, his rent projections are generally pretty high and not reality, and he generally doesn't accept offers with inspection contingencies.

If buying becomes more affordable, then there will be less demand for rentals and the rent prices will go down.I can be wrong, just like everyone else, but I think this is a terrible time to buy a property with negative cash flow, even in high-appreciation markets like San Diego.
