Find a compnay....begin as a LOA  ( loan officer assistant ) ...get  licensed ...Learn ...graduate to a LOAN  officer  after  1-2 years ( or sooner )

Additionally, I am not house-hacking since I will be relocating after graduation, but would want to keep my investment property in the area near my university. 

Being a graduate of Misericordia and spending much of my time in WB, there is plenty of potential for a property that cash flows well in these areas!
