Great question @Jeffrey Albaum I have been wondering the same thing when managing my flip projects. 

It defaults to same day, but I could see how this could cause some issues.

Ask them how they're handling these same questions you have and how satisfied they are with their projects.

If I were in the same situation, I would look for another home while renovating the one you are in. 

I think trying to apply MF in the same way was the problem as they have different things to consider.

I'd probably replace it with the same flooring as the bedroom for a cleaner & updated look.
