I will be quitting my job in California as a Police Officer and moving to Las Vegas! 

Quite often, new home construction is the result of new residents moving in who are middle class or wealthier, attracted by jobs, a healthy local economy, or other amenities as they leave nearby or far away areas for greener pastures.

I am hoping to bring in enough cash flow so I don't need to have a 9 to 5 job. 

Full disclosure, I sell solar as well for a day job. 

My husband is a general contractor and has quit his other job to free up time and speed up the turnaround time on the properties.   

Very fair pricing and does a great job.

Do yourself a favor and stay in that job for a while, it will make it easier for you to qualify for loans.

I was looking for my first job in the Real Estate industry but I was also contemplating if I wanted to jump right into the industry on my own dime and must've come across BiggerPockets in my searches.
