While the depreciation is used to reduce the exposure to UDFI taxation during the time the property is leveraged, once the debt has been eliminated, (12 months of $0 acquisition indebtedness) there is no UDFI implication.

Seems that you have good investment exposure to real estate.If you are okay renting then you can let others pay for what debt you have while reducing your obligations until you have enough equity to buy a residence for cash.Food for thought.Good luck,Jonathan

Over $5k/mo in rents, w/ lots of upside (as rent-controlled tenant shifts upwards.. then hopefully some increase in market rents would be an extra bonus..). 200+ days on market!
