But since I'm following the BRRR model, I decided to make the best of them for now, and redo the kitchen and original 100 year old oak floors before selling in a few years.

When I work with people on the "Real Estate Investing" process, I start by letting them all know one thing, "We may be starting as a wholesaler but wholesaling is not a sustainable business model".

That is my business model, doesn't work for a lot of people but has done me quite well so far.  

There currently are no true buy-and-hold crowdfunding marketplaces (although there are a few, such as Home Union, that are trying to do something close to this model).

They just want it sold for the agreed price and the agreed time.I, as an aspiring wholesaler, will operate legally, ethically, honestly, and be as transparent about how I operate to both the seller and the buyer.

I also have them write the year, make, model and plate number in the lease so I know who is who.
