Location is near downtown, with great restaurants nearby, museums (specifically a world famous architect), a level 2 Trauma hospital and 3 different universities.

Hello, I am a student at The Ohio State University, and my goal is to house hack a property in Columbus, OH in 2024 in order to begin my journey in real estate investing and save money on housing while in college. 

I had $500 to my name, My grandmother lent me $12k for the downpayment on a duplex on The Ohio State University campus in Columbus.

I'm still a university student, so I'm just using this time to begin learning and building a steady foundation before I give this whole real estate thing a go.

The population has been growing here year over year over the last decade, it is home to The Ohio State University which has over 50,000 students that live here along with those that visit, and it also holds a diverse range of young professionals and traveling nurses to fill the demand of the multiple business corporations and hospitals stationed here.

If you want to do that I would make sure you go to a university that has a good RE program or people you can network with.
