The houses I get are generally good to go due to string laws that mostly wipe out debts and mortgages as long as the county does proper notifications.

Got a notification someone voted for a post I made; they were from New York City.   

Text messages are currently NOT a legally recognized form of notification in my state of Colorado. 

Something like an IRS Tax Lien will stick unless proper notification is given to the IRS.
