New investors barely have any investing fundamentals under their belts, and then they want to add in the highest risk factors?

I've acquired about 40 apartments in the last year and am looking for preventative and active strategies to minimize risk when the economy decides to fully take a dump.I'm aware of J Scott's recent E Book which I plan on purchasing shortly after I finish this post.

@Daniel O'Donohue the best thing to do is study the underlying market fundamentals and choose a market (job growth, population growth, purchase range, affordability, property taxes, landlord friendly, etc.).

The interface is very intuitive as well and tenants get reminders of due rent, etc via e-mail  helping automate the process.

The fundamentals just aren't there. 

The message came right on time as it reinforced many of the tools and insight I am getting from my current read of the classic book The E-Myth Revisited.Replication of systems, processes, and materials seems so convenient and practical.

Those cost at e much higher then windows.
