A little about me: I'm active duty Marine Corps stationed in San Diego, I recently bought a condo and plan to stay here until I am eligible for retirement in 2027.

If you are renting out a unit in a duplex this isn’t quite as vital but still worthwhile.

I am active duty Navy for the past 16 years. 

They don't stop all the crooks but do play a vital role in keeping it to a minimum.

All this from reading books and serving my country as an Active Duty Marine.

I’m active duty Air Force and I always appreciate properties that help our Service men and women.

I am currently Active Duty stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana, just outside of Leesville.

A region's population and job growth is a great initial indicator to look at as a first step, but then you need to drill down deeper by examining other local variables such as HHIs, GMPs, diversity of economy and other factors that will provide perspective on the vitality of the area's economy.  

You need to learn those and/or seek professional guidance to understand your duties and responsibilities, and then determine if those are more expense/hassle vs. running an LLC. 

Developing those relationships between the brokers is vital.
