How do we know it won't decompose in 30 years and fall down and kill entire neighborhoods of people (ala. the aluminum wiring fiasco).If you're concerned about carbon, what about the extra weight of transporting this stuff (extra diesel fuel burned) and the extra forklifts that will be required on the job site to handle these heavy palate loads of blocks.

This would be a dangerous place to put structures because they would be most prone to having all the weight of water (which is heavy along with the motion of the water which is heavier) if you put RV pads or yurts they might be a total loss if they are truly in a floodway (where the motion of the water is).
