STR furnish and start up process

Rob Hilton
Posted

Hi everyone,

Just went under contract on a 3/3 in Perdido Key, Pensacola, FL and am setting up a STR for the first time. Any recommendations on interior/exterior design, photos, and overall setup is greatly appreciated. Completely willing and able to pay for the service to get this marketing process right. Many thanks to everyone!!

If you’re able to do some research on the top rated Airbnb’s in the area or in near by areas too, you might get an idea of different amenities they have that make them very popular. My buddy was a super host in Minnesota and he had a very cool modern setup with a classic record player, ping pong table, foosball, lots of board games, movies, a classy bookshelf loaded with books. People like having a variety of things to do at an Airbnb when they’re in the house. Because it was in Minnesota, he had iconic items from around town as art. Skyline of Minneapolis, prince artwork, a giant led Minnesota sign. He did some custom graffiti art on a wall in the basement. I think he had a couple easy to take care of plants as well. But it all depends on the vibe you’re trying to cultivate in the space.
