Pitch your development to potential customers and just make sure the lease language has a poison pill that will let you out if the project doe snot secure financing.

i use erentallock.com on mine. they dont require wifi, or internet. they use mathematic algorithms to spit out a code based on the time of day and length of stay. theyre typically used for VRBO but i use them on my rentals. codes are good for 2 years max.

They will they visit the residence, post the writ on the front door, and come back on the date posted with a locksmith and remove all occupants and secure your residence.
