Do I invest my money now and then liquidate when I have enough for my first down payment on a property or just save all cash and avoid the risk and illiquidity of certain investments?

Hi all,There are many reputable companies who will list properties (for sale) on realtor.ca for a flat fee without the use of an agent, hence saving commissions, but I haven't been able to find anyone reputable for leases. 

My father owns a business which is he getting ready to retire from, we own the property also which is a little less than an acre.

How much money do they expect you to have in your savings in order to qualify?

I liked dealing with them 2008-10, boy they sure were a lot more flexible then...kinda want to save my major renovations for the next recession :)

But if you’re trying to save some money and don’t want to hire a GC, hire him.

It would certainly save a tremendous amount of mess.
