I would think it would be possible to do a joint tenants in common even though it's currently owned by my partner period wouldn't that just be the way the title and paperwork is set up?

Everyone over the age of 18 who will be in the house, submits all their paperwork (ie pay stubs; taxes, social security card, drivers license, references with relationships to those references, etc) so you can run a background check.

so she contacted the investor, signed paperwork, accepted half of the sale price and the other half was payable upon move out...she sent it all to Patrick overseas... we currently have a contract on this home to purchase once she moves out...Problem is she will not leave... she now knows Patrick is a scam and wants to stay in the home... the investor couldn't evict her due to covid and now she is claiming the investor tricked her into selling the home... she is claiming fraud... she cannot repay the money she was given at closing...

On every offer, addendum or mutually agreed on change, a decent broker would put a "Kill-date" saying when it expires.I am curious though, since I get paperwork sent to me that is poorly written (I learned from having done it before).

You usually hire a PM to relieve you of paperwork and provide an interface that knows how to deal with tenants (like collecting co-pays and giving out bad news).In any case, you should get a FULL and ACCURATE statement of income and expenses.
