@Dennis M.You couldnt pay me double rent to deal with Section 8 in my city...its not the tenants...its the corrupt and garbage bottom feeders that work at the housing department...never seen anything like it....

If you have a deal like this, you should start by going to the town building/zoning department to figure out how the property is zoned.

Once a property is in REAP, the city Housing Department is in charge ( HCIDLA as they are known before their website switches back to Housing Department, as they were known since the passage of the Rent Control Ordinance in 1978 creating a large bureaucracy charging fees to the landlord to feed themselves and at the same time making life miserable to the mom and pop landlord who does not have the resources to comply with their draconian rules).

I'm accustomed to submitting a permit to cut down the tree, and have the City's natural resources department visit the site, do a consultation and then have the permit approved with good enough reason.
