They should be able to pull the section of the policy showing where coverage is found and cite where the Exclusions are limited and do not apply to your specific claim.

What makes property taxes even more insanely low in CA is if you are 55 or older, you can sell your primary home and buy a new one and transfer your base year value to avoid a sudden jump in taxes based on your new assessed value. yes porting your tax base is a CA exclusive from what I know and those in other states probably have no clue why would they..
