Does anyone have any ideas on what a fair return  would be when apporaching certain family members or associates for the purpose of investing some extra money they have in my 1st buy and hold real estate purchase.  

So I have a Pine  tree that fell and broke my fence, but the main problem is that it has not completely fallen and the fence is holding the tree up at the moment and it is leaning over my neighbors house.So my problem is I called my insurance company they said they will send a adjuster to asses the damage but they stated  I need to call a tree company and have the tree removed and that I have to pay for the tree to be removed and they will re imbursed me.

Would you be looking to sell this to a flipper or a buy n hold?

Our long term plan is to hold the property.  

My father is a serial entrepreneur and Has a vast portfolio of Buy and hold properties.

I'm looking to get back into the buy and hold for cash flow game in multiple out of state locations.

I do mine as buy and hold and I noticed you said "flip", so your terms may be a bit different.Hope that helps and good luck!
