I run a video production company when I'm not here at work and this job has been getting in the way of me doing some jobs, and the business is number 1 priority. 

Without knowing all of the details, my initial suggestion would be to invest there close to home and here is why.You ask two things.  

I literally describe inner details in my blog of every action in real time.... 

If you're able to listen to podcast or youtube videos during the day, on the way to and from work, while you're working out, etc, do it.  

Perhaps you can explain in greater detail. 

My ultimate goal is to buy a piece of land and develop a 25-30 multi-unit apartment complex.I have read books, attending the seminars, paid for the classes, watch the YouTube video, google things that didn’t understand which have brought me to this point of budding career as a real estate investor.As of right I looking for a few things:1) A mentor.

However, as @Josh Sohar said- talk to a CPA that has ALL the details about your situation, as there may be something I'm missing.
