But it's still well below the 50% mark once the "well I deserve the money, my landlord doesn't, AND I can live rent free for 2 months while they evict me" sense of entitlement kicks in.Section 8, meanwhile, has very strict criteria as mentioned in this thread, including "eviction for non payment", "damages", and a whole list of criteria that makes them automatically ineligible, whereas Ontario doesn't really care.

However, if you properly make the election (and you do have to do some extra work to claim the election - this is not automatic), you can then elect to treat that improvement as a repair.However, if your project is that you are replacing all of the flooring and parts and labor come to $3500, that item is not subject to the election and you must capitalize that.

It automatically adds late fees, violations, repair bills, etc..., it only collects payment in full, and I don't need to personally interact with tenants and their excuses for non-payment.

Definitely wouldn't avoid what people may think are "rough" areas as a lot of people, in my opinion, just hear the words "North Omaha" or mention those zip codes and they automatically think its a bad area.
