If you calculate just college student debt, getting married, having kids, buying cars for transportation, health insurance, having a house, food, clothing, etc. the system is designed for the public to make just enough to survive to live another day.

Too vague to figure out which property, as there's 150+, but not too squishy where you're wondering if the property is in the good area of the neighborhood, at the edge, close to transport, etc.  

But I suspect it is hard to find that deal in Boston too.  

I live in the Boston area and the apartment in question is located in the Ashmont / Peabody Square area of Dorchester.

There are good income earners living there and buying properties there because of commute time, public transportation, restaurants, coffee shops, it’s safe and fun.However Point Breeze will not do alright, who ever is doing new construction or flipping there will get hurt badly.Here’s my logic why Point Breeze over anywhere else is a bubble.First, It’s not as safe as the other places.

Hey guys, Just moved to Barcelona last month from Boston where I invested in long term rental for the last 5 years (total of 8 units).

You can only find so many locations for the same 4-6 tenants in the Boston South area.Just my unqualified comment.

Check on your Auto Insurance to make sure it will cover the use if you transport tools and materials for the project.  

Hello BP,I live just outside of Boston and am interested in purchasing a short term rental property in the North Conway area (for those not from New England), North Conway is a popular destination, as it is within 30 minutes of 3 large skiing mountains, close to summer hiking, as well as family attractions such as Storyland and Santa's village.

Oh, and a park 10 minutes away.Granted that's all there is in the area, you have to use a car or public transport to get to other stuff, but I only 'leave the area' on weekends to meet friends.
