Nothing I've read in the state Landlord-Tenant Law says anything about it as a protected class, and I know the governor recently (2023) signed into law allowing landlords to not accept it. 

you might have to basically take the entire interior down to the studs, perform mold remediation, reinsulate, new drywall, new wiring etc.  30k might not cover it.My contractors would determine to the cost to repair (including concealed damage) and I would add $30k profit to compensate for the added work of repairing it (although, having an entire entire new interior would be compensation enough). 

However, my mother is asking me to visit her to help with some matters, and I'm struggling to balance both responsibilities.My property needs some work to be rental-ready, and I want to make sure it's done properly to attract good tenants and maximize rental income.

I'm still new at this and I own the houses in the name of my trust, I haven't set up any sort of business entity for them yet.

One of my current tenants in Denver lists the extra bedroom as an Airbnb arbitrage and I was totally okay with that, it's his residence and as long as rent is paid and he has the proper licensing/insurance then sure.

As mentioned, 14 days or less is not a problem and is known as the Augusta law.

Did anyone else had same issue and Is there a way to decrease this cost?
