After 6 months, the values rebounded rapidly and values started to go up again due to demand, low supply of housing/doors, job growth, population growth, low cost of living etc... 

My partying days began to rapidly get old and my mind was infatuated with ideas of investing.

I’m a brand new investor and am learning at a rapid rate.

Omaha is definitely recovering very rapidly.

As suggested, there are many challenges in DC with tenant laws and rapidly changing neighborhoods- it’s not always easy but if you could comfortably afford to get into the market and have a strong risk tolerance, it will be worth it in the long run!  

Will be doing and having a lot of attractive investment opportunity up here with the market expanding so rapidly, similar to Vail about 20 years ago.
