It's just an option, there are all kinds of real estate education options out there to supplement any professional title you want to earn in the field.

A while back I did the Realtor route.Realtors sometimes are considered "professionals" and can get sued - Yes anyone can.

There you can find absentee owners because of the sheer number of vacation homes and cabins.A number of savvy real estate professionals here make money off this by property management, being a point of contact, etc.

Some state laws have or allow for wiggle room in the issue of practicing RE without a license, operating in areas where wiggle room is necessary is not a professional way of conducting any business. :)

Did you have the carpet professionally cleaned, or do it yourself?

The truth of the matter is, there are many good, professional and hardworking contractors and some (sad to say) are not.

Book keeping, tax treatments etc are better handled by professionals and at least one consultation with these professionals can always help.

I'm a contractor and remodeling specialist and have recently been approached by a real estate professional to possibly team up on rehabbing.

First, I'm not a tax professional, but I've spoken with lots of them, and this is my take...If you're treating flips as capital gains, you're illegally evading taxes.
