@Colton T.I am actually living in one now that is going to be a nightmare for the new owners, they paid way to much money for this park which was 500k, all the infrastructure is slowly failing from septic tank issues to well issues, meter bases all need to be replaced or missing all together, road issues you name it they have it here, their only saving grace is the park is only half full and they are slowly fixing all the issues with this parkI feel like they will be all in at close to 1 mil once the park is full and completely repaired.

Tampa, the main seat of Hillsborough county, has seen a cool off just like the rest of the country and getting a 4 unit in that price range is attainable. As you mentioned, you first want to buy a place to live in; this could be the perfect setup: live in 1 and rent the other 3 out to cover your mortgage and maybe even have positive cash flow.

I'm amazed how easy it is to keep clean and perfect, especially when we stay at other places and the tubs are dirty or smell like mold.

Which is interesting that in the '08 the market in Des Moines didn't tank, it really just dipped, much different than many of the other areas of the country. Also, here are many reports that are giving Des Moines the title of Best places to Live for various reasons.https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/2019/04/11/rankings-des-moines-fifth-best-place-live-america-us-news-world-report-city-quality-of-life-moving/3434737002/https://realestate.usnews.com/places/iowa/des-moineshttps://livability.com/best-places/top-100-best-places-to-live/2019/ia/des-moinesThat being said, depending on your goals, you will want to look in different neighborhoods around Des Moines that have different attributes and different classes of tenants.Good luck and if you want a second/third opinion on the Des Moines area feel free to message me!
