Hello All,

My name is Laretta Young and I currently reside in Los Angeles, CA. I am new to real estate and am excited to be a part of the BP community. I look forward to networking and building relationships here. I first learned about BP from a contact who successfully rehabbed properties for Airbnb use. I continued my deep dive listening to the BP podcasts and am now reading "BP Rental Property Investing". My goal is to start with house hacking and then later invest in multi-family or single family homes through BRRRR.

While I start my journey learning in Los Angeles, I'd like to invest out-of-state in Chicago, IL in the near future. When tuning into BP webinar, Brandon Turner recommended to invest where you can build a team. I have a network of contacts who know contractors and property managers.

Hey @Laretta Young!  Welcome to BP and thanks for posting.  One of my best friends lives out in LA I am sure you are going to love it.

Very exciting that you want to start investing and even better that you want to do it in Chicago.  Is the main reason because of the price point out in LA?
