As Jon said; call the courthouse and ask them OR look in your local paper and see what they call it in the heading of each notice.

It's sort of a "keep your enemies closer" thing...I have always worked to ensure that the HOA does not become one of those HOAs you read about in the paper...telling people that their house is the wrong shade of white or that their grass is a sixteenth of an inch too high.But, I do think HOAs serve some purpose with respect to maintaining aesthetics.

There are national rates posted on the web, and often the local paper will run a chart with mortgage rates in the Sunday real estate section.The rate you get is going to be very closely tied to your credit score.

I was sitting at the house looking at the forums here. then looked at yesterdays paper,, and it had an ad for a very cheap fixer upper in valley al, for only 5,500,, not far from my house, so out of curiosity i went to look at the house, when i got there the house had major water damage from a leaky roof that would cost 20,000 just to fix it, well by chance the guy who posted the ad was the rightful owner,( who was already there when i arrived ) I easily talked him down to 1,000 bucks and he agreed, well i was short on cash so i pawned my car title for a 1,000,,ok lets buy it, I signed the paper work in the front yard and settled the deal,deed and all on the spot!!

If you go too cheap, 20-40% from what 3 contractors gave you, you might throw in the towel after your first flip, two things could happen, either you will have a nightmare during day time at site until you finish, or you will have to pay twice for the same job, this means you need another contractor to finish the first one.

We don’t buy expensive underlay for our Vinyl projects we get the felt roofing paper from any lumber yard and use it as our barrier and never had any issues.

There's a couple of ways you can find out.Look at the door or at the front of the house or maybe on the front windows and look for any papers that have been posted.
