So is there anyone that lives in my area (Westchester County) that would be willing to mentor me?

Additionally, we belong to a very active local REI group, which is where we found our mentor.       

Then find a mentor doing what you want to do and learn from them so that you can meet your goals.

So if there truly is someone willing to mentor someone else what should the mentor expect from the new guy?

But fear is holding me back from getting started and so i'm looking for a partner and or mentor to bounce ideas off of and walk with me through this life changing venture.I'm interested in only buy and hold for now but may be open for other avenues later on. i know MA is a tough area to get started in real estate but there's gotta be good deals somewhere in this state

The planner would be like a coach, mentor... freaking on fire with ideas.  

I am also looking for a solid mentor in the Houston area who is willing to teach a young, hungry, and very motivated future investor.

With my wife being a realtor and access to the MLS and me being a contractor we are almost there.We are looking for an investor who has a few flips under their belt to show us the way as a mentor, and who is willing to partner up for are first few flips.

find a good mentor and keep educating yourself 😆
