Anyone have any tips for establishing an LLC for a rental property, or a Point of contact in Indiana?

I can't even do an inspection because he is either not home or does not answer the door and has changed the top lock without my permission or knowledge.The other question is since a time frame has not been established and when I contact him for an update, I am told I am harassing him.

Risks: you might want to investigate risk factors as safety, theft, infra structure of the land etc.In overall, as first STR investment I would stick to a single family home located in a secure and established neighborhood. 

@David Robinson There were a number of factors that made Knoxville appealing for us.1- Mid/Small size city which we are more comfortable (similar to what Colorado Springs used to be) 2- Newer homes in general (i don't have expertise in the challenges associated with 100 year old SFHs)3- Diverse and growing economy (UT, Government Jobs, and Medical to name a few)4- Affordability (Turnkey SFHs are available in the low $200K in great neighborhoods)5- It seems more off the radar for investors than Memphis and Nashville which means less competitionAs for credit score, mine actually dropped from 780 to 760.

I’m considering buying up an assload of lots in an established subdivision where values are suddenly increasing 9-10% per year.

Appreciation has been amazing.Best advice: buy a SFR in an established neighborhood with no HOA, if possible. 

A little background: I'm 36, married with a 4 year old son who has high medical bills, and a little lady due in March 2021.

Some pharmaceutical company may have been working on a medication to reverse the kidney disease.

I also see a more established looking neighborhood from looking at google maps (which is like 2013 so very dated).
