That policy protected walls, plumbing, etc up to about 30% of my loan value...and it had small coverage amounts for medical bills, sewer backup, etc..and that ran $1,300 a year as an occupant.

Charlotte the issue comes from Morris marketing materials.. he states these are not C D class that the tenant base is easier to manage than A class .. that lots of doctors live in the homes etc etc.then you have people buy them rehab not done.. scope of work not even close to what would be needed to fix these low end homes.. etc etc..

I typically handle tenant maintenance requests and other general communication with the tenants by either answering them directly or leading them to the appropriate person, but we're still trying to figure out a protocol for when "emergency" maintenance calls come in after-hours.Obviously, if there is a fire, break-in, medical emergency, etc., they would be calling 911, not the property manager.

Tim, I'm sure insurance companies are using them especially through third party investigators, they would be handy for medical and workmens comp cases too.Seems there is an issue with property rights too, you own your land from the center of the earth to infinity and the federal govt has jurisdiction 1,000 feet above and below for approach and departue from/to runways.
