I’m considering to become a Hard Money Lender and I would like to hear some experienced Hard Money Lenders, see if they could share some tips.I have some ideas but I would love to hear from you:1- how much do you borrow?

Ask your agent any questions, she is the first professional on your team. 

I always like talking real estate especially with someone more experienced than I. 

Another suggestion would be to have your team, broker, architect, builder all lined up and promote the team to your potential lender. 

Creative financing is a great fall back for experienced investors, but a terrible way for people to try to learn the business.

The experience taught me the value of building a team and reserving cash for repairs, and the whole experience eased my fears.

Stanley's daughter came out with a new book this month updating the research -- I haven't read it yet.Stanley identified several factors that keep you rich or poor: where you live, how much you spend on the house you line in, how much you spend on luxuries, how much debt you pay interest on, but I believe his most important finding is that a much higher percentage of millionaire men than normal will report on a survey that their spouse is more frugal than they are.Getting rich turns out to be very much a team sport, specifically, a team of two.

I have team support that helps me out with research and email follow ups when I’m not available so we should be able to get to you quickly.

I would also like to follow a similar model as yours - OOS, build a team, research and pull the trigger. 

I believe those that are the most successful are 1) well rounded 2) experienced 3) hard working 4) know their why and are passionate.Pick one and commit till you feel like you could competently talk to another REI.Goodluck!
