I've heard a lot about Fraud by Inducement where the Wholesaler basically lies to the Seller and gives the Seller the impression that he/she (the Wholesaler) has the funds necessary to close but really doesn't.

At that point you'd be lying on your application because if you say yes now you have to factor payment into your DTI if you qualify no biggie.

Don't lie to your loan broker about income, it's unlikely that underwriting will miss much, and they will check everything.Look into asset based lenders.

I'm planning to go to some real estate meetups soon to have some one on one with people in the game and hopefully get a few phone numbers down.Not gonna lie though, I got kind of discouraged because there are not a lot of multifamily homes for sale in my area (based on loopnet, craigslist, etc..).
