I'm talking to a broker on Friday about maybe doing a HELOC on a duplex I own outright, so we'll see what happens!

Everything was lining up perfectly.This was to be my first investment property and I was being very careful to make sure I didn't put it under contract until I had worked everything out.So last Friday, I confirmed my financing was ready.

Fast forward to Friday, March 9th, 2018.

That was a Friday and gave me a chance to move stuff into the home over the weekend.

We gave a deadline of that Friday afternoon- never heard anything until we finally found out the lady who apparently is in charge of this or the listing, or however it works, was apparently out of the office because when the listing agent forwarded our offer, he got an automated response.Apparently the list agent felt the bank was seriously considering it because it hadn't been outright rejected.

Of course the next morning is January 3rd, a Friday, the bank has two lanes open and only one teller working with six cars ahead of me.

I'm not sure if the link to the replay of tonight's webinar is on the site yet but I believe he will be sending the link for it soon and it is usually available until Friday.  

I assume something came up and you won’t be able to show her the property tomorrow but probably by Friday once her application/background check comes through.
