There was a color that was cheap that went well with the wood in my apartment, but they've since discontinued.

She has met with contractors, made payments, picked out color/tile etc, even pitched in on parts of the rehab we have done ourselves.  

I will not be keeping the walls the colors the tenant has chosen, so my thought process is that I'm merely pushing my inevitable paint project down the road when I have someone else in there.I just want to make sure I won't be causing more trouble for myself down the road with cheap paint to go over.

When getting together a plan to flip the house, things like floor plan, layout, cabinets, paint colors, design plans etc.

I "Repaired" a bleach stain in a maroon carpet with a variety of colored permanent marker (Quite well I might add). 

While a renter may not have a lot of the hassles of ownership, they get the hassles of random % rent increases, places sold out from under them or not getting the room color or pets they want etc.
