Trust me, you do not want to go through the eviction process here—-one day I might post here about the nightmare tenant that was our one and only eviction— (former friend who just wanted to store some furniture in our storage under our house for a few days but started “living” there—turned into a 6 yr “tenant” -was mostly ok/tolerable but turned into a nightmare last two years when we told him it was time to move on—eviction alone took 5 months!)

.), or sales person at an equipment rental company who rents equipment to developers, or real estate agent, or work of some kind at an electric utility company who provides electricity to new neighborhoods, etc.For duplexes / triplexes consider working at a hardware store/lumber yard in sales or stocking items, or in any residential construction trade (concrete, lumber framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc.) or as a leasing agent or maintenance person at an apartment complex, etc.Anything related to the goal of developing land and designing and building or selling homes would be helpful.

My plan would be to buy this building, have the income from the apartments and storage to cover the mortgage and then gut the storefront and open a liquor store or bookstore and personally run it.

We planned on more so picking up furniture at sales and stores and grabbing lamps and stuff as we came across them at great prices was something we just did, so the second was over half furnished when we started looking.
