I just filled out a simple 1-pg Articles of Organization form and mailed it in with $100.

I've joined the Neighborhood Organization even though I don't live there, and volunteered as the webmaster.All the active neighbors (15% of the 'hood) know that I have rentals, am always buying, and am keenly interested in improving the neighborhood and property values.

BUT, what it does do is keep a large group of people with a lot of jobs, responsibility and money flying around, organized and together.
