We have about $50k in capital to spend and any costs that surpass that we would look for a hard money loan.The properties that we are seeing fall into two categories generally - fixer uppers that are priced at around 70-100k and more turnkey properties that are priced in the low to mid 200k region.We want to follow the BRRRR strategy, which would most likely push us to the larger rehab properties, but are not sure if a large rehab is the right move for two beginners in the real estate investment game.What are your thoughts?

What I am curious of is any other investors out there who have been in a similar situation, or any perspectives, ideas, etc to be honest.I think that I already know that the wise decision is to pay off any remaining debts possible, continue education and practice, save more money, and come back mid 2021 with a good lump sum for the first property.. it’s just disappointing thinking of not hitting a big goal of ours this year.Thanks for reading this long post all.V/RAlec

I think there is a mid-price brand (Milgard), which cheaper than Pella/Andersen, for example, that may be what you need?

Some lines look bad and our plumber just does a full overhaul clipping on the inside and they need more annual or mid-annual maintenance, but without cracks that are letting anything out, they survive.
