There are A LOT of investor meetups there, and that is the best place to start connecting with other investors before getting inundated with realtors who don't know anything but took out an ad here.

We have found policies that would cover the entire property if it was not owner occupied, and we have found policies that would cover the property if the units were connected.

Obviously new construction since that's the only way you can choose adjacent houses.We want to form a social connection by living next to each other, but don't want to be formally attached such as with an LLC etc.

Short story is that after a "reset" about paying on time last month it's 5/19 and I have half the rent and just had to send a plumber out to address a tenant caused water issue and I'm done at this point.
