While staying with a friend, tenant called the health department to complain about the unit and caused the health department to open up an active case for investigation.Now this is what I was told from the landord's side, I do not know and haven't spoken with tenant, so I don't know the other side of the story.Would appreciate some thoughts on what the landlord should/could do at this point.

Aside from that the inspector will most likely look inside all of the electrical panels to check the wiring, check the attic for proper insulation & leaks, each unit for any life & health safety items, & overall the entire building.

While Wisconsin doesn't have any laws in regards to rent increases and there's no written lease with a term for you to honor, the law of being a reasonable human being does still apply.

Landlords can evict tenants that are creating safety or health hazards for other tenants, and those tenants who do not submit hardship declarations.”There are a few different pieces here- yes, you will need to give 30 days notice even for this now tenant at will, and following you may or may not receive payment for the 30 day period.

I understand your tenants point that she shouldn't need to wear the mask in her house but let her know that it's not because of her but rather the contractors who are putting THEIR health at risk to benefit HER family.
