After serious health issues we had to short sale our home.

There were issues with termites, the electric was really not up to code, the HVAC was complete trash, there was mold, and the inspector had doubts about the health of the roof because he couldn't get into the attic to inspect it because it had been sealed off apparently for who knows what reason. 

The flu is going around our house right now, so depending on health, that could be a  possibility!

Rising health care costs?

They emailed us the certificate that anyone can print off for $25 online, we told them that wasn't sufficient and that they would need a note from a licensed mental health professional, and they have not provided it. 

Does anyone take this to the point of labeling it a health liability issue and completely remove the frig?

., but not including appliances, cabinetry etc. ) should cost for: 1)) a typical sized kitchen remodel (assuming demo of existing cabinets, and installation of new kitchen cabinets, floor tiles, backsplash and appliances). 2) new bathroom (gut previous bathroom, install new tub, new vanity, new tiling etc.

First the market took a dive then shortly after my health did as well.

I am also considering the health of the economy and future outlook, thus I've eliminated cities like Detroit, Cleveland, and Memphis.

The condition on my health issues were mostly a surprise to me I felt lucky I had a wife that was willing to take care of me.
