What if you find a property that just needs paint and carpet that you could do yourself?

How much for sq. yards of carpet, painting, doors, bathrooms, etc.

I am more likely to accept pets if the unit has no carpet.

Most of these houses have beautiful hardwood under the carpet ( I lived in the same neighborhood last year) although the carpet doesn’t look bad at all.
