While you may be comfortable that you are receiving a clean Title, you now no longer have insurance about the chain of Title prior to your ownership.Additionally, if the Title Insurance becomes invalidated (which is possible since you no longer have an insurable interest, a fundamental characteristic in insurance) then you should be in breach your loan convenant to have Title insurance is my understanding

AneU_VTSiG...I'm reading this as - you can have either one roommate if you live in a house yourself or you can have two different people rent out two rooms in your house but that's it, you can't say get a 5 br house and get 5 roommates in.So I do not understand how people can possibly be renting out houses by the room but I keep hearing about on BP podcast and other places??

It's a great way to get started IMO.But understand, at least in the market I operate in, there is no such thing as being "section 8 approved" before you have a tenant.You need to find a tenant, sign a lease, and only THEN schedule a S8 inspection.
