Just started a rehab in Chicago and it's looking like we need ~3000 sq foot of the wide plank grey good stuff. 

( need just the basics nothing fancy a brick front with hardi plank sides. )Will tenants want to rent in a building that in a back yard? 

This caused a bunch of water damage to the hardwood floors in the kitchen area and along the hallway (warped planks, etc).

For example, we would DIY the install with waterproof resilient vinyl plank at 2.50/ft; for for a 10x13 kitchen it would cost about $325 and I'd charge the tenant a $15 per month rent increase.

It’s not the most durable product and all my clients are switching to 100% vinyl planking to avoid this very issue.
