I can read more articles but some of the REI meeting that are available want to promote a book or a cover charge.I need actual direction.

Then, more advanced stuff that those without licenses will have a tough time with: active real estate agents working the area - so i can call them to preview my house - in case they run into potential buyers they know of in their office, Then, I have Listingbook software on my I-phone ( Works with MLS data- by subscription)- that actually knows the number of searches of homes in any given area - so I can blast a promotion of my house to all the agents that have clients looking in the area (not just my subdivision -unless that is what I want), and...for the investor in me: track all the mortgages recorded against the property, so I know how low of an offer I can make - based on the mortgages on the property.

They have advertising behind them to promote their business.

I did a few classes and put a hole in my pocket.As a quick run down on the 'seminar':They will spend an hour and half with a rich dad poor dad student promoting how much they've made from this education.

I've searched the forum and a lot of people promote Ohio.

Hi @Carey Lynch,Thanks for posting in the forums.However, we do not allow self-promotion, and posts looking for real estate agents tend to generate a lot of self-promotion from the agents on the site.We've locked this thread so it doesn't get filled with these posts.

Kind of like the lenders that make post on “the cost of waiting to buy.” it makes sense for those that get perks on promoting something to promote it.

As someone pointed out, "they're hired guns to promote Pace Morby" and  to get people to sign up. 

We use BDX to promote some of our communities.
