I've been interested in getting into real estate for some time and beginning the process of research and preparation before diving into the industry.

So buy a sample and test it out on a big patch of wall.  

I WANT to rent to him, but I just want to know (good and bad) what I should be prepared for as a landlord to someone in his situation. 

I would like to be prepared when I find my first deal.

There are also disadvantages, such as needing to vacate the property and prepare it for sale.

It's kind of a contingency but not quite, the offer is just for the vacant land and contract would only be executed once ground is fully cleared, inspected, maybe even tested, etc., not before like with a home-sale offer. 

If you are just getting started I would recommend not spending allot of money testing things out. 

Do they routinely change out cast iron plumbing, aluminum wiring, test for lead-based paint?

When I go to the blog and click any article (have tested by clicking 5 different articles), it shows a pop-up (pictured below) saying "Join for free and continue reading".Under that it says "Sign Up" or "Sign In", to which I click "Sign In" since I paid for an annual pro membership.This brings me to my "Dashboard" page on my profile, and I leave the blog article page.I then have tried to go back to that page and it continues to ask me to either "Sign Up" or "Sign In" and the process repeats itself for the last 20 minutes.So is anyone else experiencing this?
