I’m guessing the other 34% are renting to family, in the middle of a multi-year lease, are lying to the survey taker to sound like angels, or are retired ma/pa operators that don’t know better and haven’t increased rent in 10 years. 

And the single-member LLC is also disposable--some lenders require it, and sometimes it's easier to have it so you can avoid having investors pledge their membership interests in the LLC. 

I am thinking of purchasing the pro membership however i was wondering if the software's that are provided are compatible with canadian real estate. i.e. the rental property tools calculator and other similar features.In the event that they aren't, does anyone have any other sites they would recommend that are of equivalent quality and functionality?

Survey the 2 or 3 people in California that will pay over 2 million to live in a 1300sf home where they share their backyard, that should give you a good answer.
