Start setting goals and getting your head right because once things pick up, it'll be easy to get knocked off-track. 

You might want to head back to the drawing board with some serious savings plans and re-visit real estate syndications in a year or two.

I was trying to do right by them and offered them a pretty substantial amount of money to leave and pay for moving, enough to pay their next security, first, last, and then some.
