Do i need to study a carreer to enter real estate investing or can i start reading and listening to podcasts to get into it?

I've been lurking these forums and studying RE for the past five or so years while in college.

Not sure how much you're into podcasts but I have found them to be very valuable; not only from a content perspective but also as an case study into what is possible through real estate.

Studying the market, looking for deals, crunching the numbers, putting together an offer, etc. 

(I hope I am making sense so far).You should really study what type of real estate investment you want to do so it can better assist in making a decision that suits you. 

This question you asked is probably one of the most difficult question asked on the forums due to so many potential paths that can be taken.I'd take a bit of time and study property types, BRRR strategies, syndication and etc. 

What to do next- Study and determine what kind of cash reserves you'll need to handle vacanies, repairs,.....  

I'd recommend spending your weekend studying these three forms of seller financing as one of these three will likely be your best option.

Study and then do, that's how I got over paralysis.
