(Son wants to live there - house hacking and have roommates pay the mortgage).  

Does she live alone, or could she get a roommate to help with the costs?

During the walk through I discovered there was a roommate with a cat also living there.  

Also, I have debated using the BURRR method but I'm not sure what would be considered mortgage fraud since I bought it with the intent of living there with roommates, but I am having to leave so soon.P.S.

Hey friends,I'm looking into investing in a 3 bedroom, living in it, and Airbnb'ing out the extra two rooms.As I'm almost ~30yo, Airbnb'ing out the extra rooms seems more appealing than renting out the two extra rooms to roommates.

My current situation is that I am renting an apartment with a friend/roommate in Downtown Chicago (Lakeview) and have been debating on jumping into real estate.

I suggest increasing the security deposit for an extra roommate as well.
