The way the VA allows us to buy properties is a huge benefit and I'm surprised more vets don't utilize their benefit as effectively as they should.  

There are benefits to having both.When you go fishing or hunting, you have your local experts near your home and fishing and hunting guides who know the ins and outs and sweet spots of the place you wish to travel to.The laws in CA and OK are similar both still very different. 

I think you would definitely benefit from listening to  BP Podcast #75 and BP Podcast #111 which primarily discuss investing in mobile homes.Highly recommend listening to these 2 podcasts... and the rest of 'em.

I had the benefit of a stairwell between 2 units so I was able to have the bank treat it as a duplex unit versus the legal 5 units with the town.

It will be a big benefit to your RE career.

And of course REI is a people and relationship business, so I would like to connect with others to see how we could BEST benefit and be of service to each other and each of our individual businesses.

Some banks are starting to realize that many wholesalers are using land trusts so this mitigates some of the benefits.
